Download BBM For Tecno Phantom N9 Pad

It's no news anymore that BBM is available for Android and iPhone however, some Android devices are excluded from the list that can install BBM. 

One of such devices is the Tecno Phantom N9 pad and perhaps other tablets too and you can download here or click the link below.
 

The good news is that I was able to load BBM on Tecno Phantom N9 pad and it worked and for others that downloaded the app too.

    Hello Akin,

    You have just been of great help by sending this post. I use Tecno Phantom N9 and couldn't download the BBM App before as it said my system is not compatible. But when I downloaded the link you sent, it worked and the App is more beautiful on the N9 than on any BlackBerry phone. Thumbs up.

      You should connect to a strong and good WiFi with internet access. Once you have that, it will take you to the setup page

      Go to Settings/apps bbm, clear cache and force close. Now launch bbm again and complete the setup while connecting to a good wifi network. If that fails, reinstall app again and follow procedures.

    Got it to work, read about a similar issue on nairaland and followed the instruction to use another email address, I registered the first mail with my old blackberry so i used another email address and it worked fine on my Android. Thanks

    Okay... One thing I need to know is this... I also have an apk for for all my applications on my LG optimus.. But if I install using the apk on the N9, will updates to the app directly from Play store work? or I'll jst have to keep looking for sm1 with the latest version to extract the apk(updated version of the app) to re-install..? (Which will cause loss of app data) Because after installation, play store should detect the app on the device.

      When you sideload an apk file to your Android phone, updates won't show up in Play Store automatically. You may need to manually search for the app on play store and when the app shows, you would see the update menu and you can update normally. You don't have to go about looking for the update from someone else.

      However, if the update isn't available on your the country's play store, you would have to wait till its available or go the same route by getting from the Play store its available on, but that doesn't mean you would lose your settings or data.

      I really don't know what android version Tecno T9 is running but this bbm needs android 4.0 and above to work. Also, reboot your phone and the app should launch. Its a memory issue I believe; that is, if T9 meets the requirements for bbm

      Reboot your device. Make sure it's not connected to your computer and then reboot that is all you need to do

    OMG!! Akin which planet did you come from? ...am short of word for this. I was almost leaving this page since it refused to download in my fone but after taking my time reading all the comments, then i got to realize that after rebooting my fone... it finally allowed me to download and install it. Now am rocking BBM on my fone after many months of unbelief

    Still on the N9 issue, when i click on the attachment info, it says 'There is no installed app that can open the attachement. Try downloading an appropriate app from the android market" please help...Cheers!

      You need an app that can open the attachment that's why. For example, if the attachment is a Microsoft word document, you need a document reader on the phone before it can be opened. If it's a compressed zipped file, you may need ES manager first to be able to extract and view the file. Hence your task to be sure what June of file you're trying to open and then download an appropriate app that is able to open such file in your phone.

    Good day, tried installing the new bbm on my tecno p9 tablet but it was quite difficult, keeps telling me it has stopped working, that's after i must have installed it. Searched for the old one but it was abortive. I finally got the old one back from your site. Thanks! But why isnt the new one working on tecno tablets?

How To Unbrick Tecno F7 Smartphone

About a week ago, a friend rooted his Tecno Phantom A smartphone. He was so excited about the endless possibilities to customize his device so he kept installing a lot of applications that caught his attention unaware of the dangers some apps can create on rooted smartphones. Finally, he installed an application called Font Changer Lite and that was when it all happened. After installing this app, his phone attempted to reboot and instead of booting normally, the phone froze at the Tecno logo. It wasn’t going passed that state. He couldn’t boot into his phone. Practically, his phone was bricked and had to look for a way to unbrick and use his phone again.
