BlackBerry today announced that its replacing, more like fired its CEO Thorsten Heins and to be succeeded in the interim by John S Chen, who was the former CEO of Sybase. Thorsten Heins John S Chen is currently a director at both Wells Fargo and Disney. He was the chairman at Sybase where he transformed the company in a big way before it was sold to SAP. John S Chen What we know so far is that Thorsten Heins did his bit to grow the company but however had failures along the way. John S Chen is very charismatic and more of a leader considering his outstanding track records and may be the man BlackBerry needs to make things work better than it is now.
