Facebook Free Internet Service To Be Put On Hold

Data services in some parts of the world can be very expensive and quite a lot of people would be glad if there is free internet for all especially in a country like India where a large population of people 252 million out of 1.3 billion have access to substantial data and Internet services. To help more Indians have access to the Internet, the CEO of Facebook Mark Zuckerberg decided to roll out free Internet to the masses known as Free Basics. The  Free Basics  initiative which started 10 months ago in conjunction with Reliant Communications is now unfortunately put on hold by the government due to certain bodies sharing concerns that it violates  net neutrality principles.
