Nokia has taken the wraps off their Lumia 525 smartphone which is the successor to the Lumia 520 budget smartphone. Lumia 520 was common for those with budget concerns but lacked somethings: bigger RAM to run apps Well, Lumia 525 comes to correct the RAM issue. Lumia 525 comes with 1GB RAM instead of the 512MB RAM seen in the 520. Aside this new bump in RAM, everything else is pretty much the same. The camera is still 5MP without flash, screen display is 4 inch, dual-core Qualcomm S4 processor still running inside the Lumia 525.  The price should also be the same too though so that those willing to leave the Lumia 520 for 525 will have even more reasons to do so. As of this writing, there is no word on release date but we believe it should be soon enough in this year and in Africa, Middle East and Asia Pacific according to the website. Huawei is doing fairly well in the smartphone industry. One of the highly laudable smartphones that was warmly received was the Huawei Ascend P6 that was very light and thing with great specs and features. Even though Huawei's mate 2 is a pretty good device, it wasn't as good and popular as the P6. But, the Huawei Glory 4 may be another stunner smartphone that will surely impress most. The leak came today and the specs we saw are not bad. First, it will feature an octa-core Mediatek MT6592 1.5GHz processor with 2GB RAM and 16GB internal memory. Furthermore, it will have 13MP rear camera, 720p display capacity and expected Emotion 2.0 UI. OEMs across Africa have made a collaborative with BlackBerry to make sure that BBM is pre-installed on their devices. This would mean that once a new device from these OEMs are turned on, it will come already pre-installed with BBM. Popular OEMs that have joined the deal are TECNO, Be, Micromax, Snexian, TiPhone, Brightstar, Celkon, EVERCOSS, IMO, Mito, Spice and Zen. Its possible other OEMs like Infinix, iTel etc partake in this collaborative efforts in the near future. Already, most of these devices come with Whatsapp pre-installed on their devices but with BBM increasingly becoming more popular and relevant in the Android community, its only logical that this happens so as to increase the selling point for their devices. Apple recently released iOS 7.1 beta 1 to developers. As you may know, beta versions of iOS are for developers only which means that its not available to everyone yet. Also, these beta versions may have glitches and issues. That being said, if you are a developer or not a developer and wish to install this new iOS 7.1 to your iDevice, you carry the risk of not getting some apps to work. There are so many online activities that require one to enter personal credit card details before one can register or try out a certain service.  The thing is putting up credit card information into these websites may and may not cause harm. Some websites even want you to  put in Credit Card information before you can sign up even when money is not going to be actually deducted. Therefore, there is a need for a make-believe Credit Card Numbers just to  bypass this need by the website.   A thief is a thief but some thieves are of a different mindset. So is the story of a thief that did the unexpected in China earlier today. The iPhone thief took out an iPhone from his victim's (Zou Bin) pocket while sitting together in a taxi.  Zou Bin, who is the owner of the phone which contains about 1000 contacts was pissed and furious which gave birth to the conversation below. "I know you are the man who sat beside me. I can assure you that I will find you,” Bin said in a text message to the thief. “Look through the contact numbers in my mobile and you will know what trade I am in,” he continued. “Send me back the phone to the address below if you are sensible.” According to reports, Bin works in an industry long reported to have links with gang activity.
