Samsung has officially announced the next Samsung Unpacked event which is usually a press event to unveil the things they have in their waiting room to reveal to the whole world. The date was  announced from their twitter handle and the event is scheduled for February 24th which is also the opening day of the Mobile World Congress. This year unpacked event is known as Samsung Unpacked 5. The "5" in it may suggest that Samsung may use the event to unveil the next generation of the Samsung Galaxy S series; Galaxy S5. If this is the case, then we are in for treat in the next few weeks. World Mobile Congress is happening in Barcelona and Samsung have chosen that same date to perhaps gracefully unveil the Samsung Galaxy S5 along with its features, specifications and price tag. The Samsung Galaxy S5 specs have reportedly been confirmed by Samsung.  According to sources, the device, S5 will come in both metal and plastic form factor but the metal design one will cost more than the plastic version.  Galaxy S5 will have an AMOLED display with resolution of 2560 x 1440 but the inches of the screen is still not known but may be around 5-5.25 inches.  Aside that, the camera of the phone would be 16MP back camera and 5MP front camera . As far as the processor of the device is concerned, no word from SamMobile but we envisage the Exynos 6 or the Snapdragon 805 chip loaded on the device. The S5 will also run Android KitKat 4.4 . Knowing how Samsung likes to push boundaries, we expect to see the iota technology Samsung taunted bundled on the S5 and also give the device a RAM of 3GB.
