The number of social media platforms and apps are inexhaustible thy are so much you get confused on which one to really buy into. However, the likes of Facebook, Twitter and Instagram are easy to just buy into due to their popularity among other things. Path may not be as popular as Facebook, Twitter etc yet its quite interesting to see quite a few people on the platform. How To Get Folders On Any Nokia Lumia Phone

Nokia Lumia users can now have folders on their home screen just like other smartphones from other devices do.  Naturally, all apps are arranged on the home screen without the ability to put these apps in folders for organisation and cleanness sake. However, Nokia has now made the ability to get folders on their handsets by releasing a dedicated app to achieve that. This app called App Folder can be downloaded from the App Store (link placed at the bottom of page). Initially, this ability was reserved for Nokia Lumia 1020 and Lumia 925 when the Lumia Black software update is installed. However, Nokia deemed it fit that other Nokia Lumia phones should have the feature or app too on their devices which eventually led to the release of a dedicated app. What this ultimately means is that you can gather similar apps an put them in a folder so that things can get very organised on the home screen and also less clustered. This would also make it easier to find apps. ...

BBM On Windows Phone

Finally, BlackBerry Messenger (BBM) is now available for Android and iOS devices as promised by BlackBerry and it works so well and flawless on these devices. According to BlackBerry, 5 million people downloaded BBM within a space of 8hrs. The question is, what percentage of these people would be dumping their BlackBerry devices for Android or iPhone? Where does this leave BlackBerry? I believe it will in a way put BlackBerry in a not-so-good condition. BBM is a highly anticipated and revered messaging app and its not surprising to see the massive download rate by Android and iOS device users. If people, are dumping BlackBerry devices which already has BBM for Android and iPhone, how much more will Windows Phone device purchase take a hit? The effect would be felt  by Windows Phone manufacturers due to the fact that there's no BBM available for WP devices (e.g Nokia Lumia phones, HTC and Samsung phones with Windows OS) and people buy smartphones for the apps it s...

By now, a good number of people know that BlackBerry is releasing the revered BlackBerry Messenger to other platforms before September. This was further reassured by Thorsten Heins at the BBLive conference this morning. According to Thorsten Heins, BBM would be free of charge to download and use. However, only the messaging and group chat would be rolled put first, followed by BBM Voice, Screen Sharing, Video Capabilities and BBM channels later in the year. While a lot of folks are very much excited about this soon to be released BBM for Android and iOS, it is important to note that it won't support some devices. Below are the devices it won't support 1. Any Android device running Android version lower than Ice Cream Sandwich. That is, anything less than Android 4.0 won't be supported. 2. Any iOS device running less than iOS 6.0 won't be supported. That is any iPhone lower than iPhone 3GS won't be supported, iPhone 4 still running iOS 5.1...
