Have you ever wanted to download a file and couldn't because its not available in your country yet or not compatible for your device at that point in time? Google does this because perhaps the developer wants to roll out the app country by country or its not just compatible with some devices. Well, there is a work around for such issues and the workaround involves downloading the actual apk file from Play Store to your computer or phone and then install normally as you would do for apk files. One catch though is that it works for free apps and not paid applications; we don't want to condone using cracked apps too. Developers must chop! Follow the steps below to get apk files from Google Play Procedures 1. Go to Google Play Store and search for the free app of your choice. 2. Click on any free app you wish to download its apk file. just as in the image below which I selected 2go app.   3. Now copy the URL at the top of your browser shown in red i...

Apple's iMessage App For Android Surfaces On Play Store

Apple's iMessage messaging service just got spotted on Google Play Store and its available for download for Android devices. Like the name suggest, it allows you to send iMessages to not only Apple devices but also to other Android users that have the app installed. This is actually surprising seeing that the app had been in the store since September 12th according to the information on Google Play Store. Not only that, there are reviews being written which suggests that the app is performing as intended. Jay Freeman, creator of Cydia, a popular Hacker and Developer on the iOS platform has this to say "as far as I can tell the way it works is that the client does directly connect to Apple, but the data is all processed on the developer's server in China. This not only means that Apple can't just block them by IP address, but also that they get to keep the "secret sauce" on their servers (and potentially just run Apple code: there...

Apple App Store offers More Useful apps Than Google Play Store apps

Apple App Store offers more useful apps Than Google Play Store and the reason isn't far fetched.  While we live in an age where software and applications have become more relevant than ever, any smartphone maker that do not have a huge application base in its app store is doomed and would suffer in sales of its devices, this is especially glaring with BlackBerry and Windows Phone devices.  That being said, having huge applications present in the app store isn't only the factor that determines the high adoption of a mobile operating system. What is the point of having over one million apps and 70% are not really useful to mankind? Definitely no point and this why having the largest application in the store is not enough.  Considering Google Play Store and Apple App Store boasting of almost a million apps each in its app store, there's nothing that can't be installed on an Android & iOS device thereby making devices running these Operating Systems m...
