Google have released a new Gmail app that look almost like the new Inbox app that was released a while ago for iOS.  The new app has the same look and feel like the new Inbox app that was released for iOS. The new Gmail app is very intuitive and helps in categorizing mails and making it easy to see mails that are important and the ones that qualify as spam. Gmail app for Android gets an upgrade which comes with new features. The new feature includes a vacation responder that will let fellow colleagues know that you are off the clock. This is a good feature since we are getting close to the holiday season, Google is trying to help make the holiday a work-free one. If you are on Android KitKat 4.4, you just easily print your email to avoid checking phone when busy. Also, the new updates now has ability to attach any kind of file. That means, all kinds of file types are now supported for attachment. The update is gradually rolling out region by region so it might take a while before it gets to you. Google have rolled out new Gmail app for Android smartphones with easy access and messages are now tagged with alphabets for easy identifications of mails and groupings as we pointed out in our recent post last week. The first character of the Message sender or subject is boldly placed in a colored box for fast identification of the sender. This makes it easier to recognize and even group messages from the same sender together. Check out the images below for you consideration. This color coding effect is wise, cool and well done. The mail is less loud and more soothing. Also, swiping from right to left puts the message in Archive . Have you ever gotten pissed when important mails get overshadowed by less important ones? In fact sometimes you might have to scroll down the page to get to that important mail,  especially for those that receive so much mails. Well, Google has done it again and decided to fix this. Hence, comes the new Gmail . This new Gmail , which is available to both Desktop and mobile platforms seek to help organise all mails by placing different mails of certain types in tabs. Consequently, if you have mails from say social media sites, a tab titled "social media" fills that inbox. These goes for other mail types. Tabs can also be customized and edited to taste.
