How To make Your Own Google Cardboard Virtual Reality Headset

Google started building virtual reality headset using cardboard papers recently which have caught the attention of many due to the materials being used and the affordability of the built cardboard VR headset when compared to the likes of Oculus Rift and the Sony project Morpheus. The cardboard VR headset is simple to make and for those that will want to just save themselves the stress of making one, you can buy the unit for as low as $10 in various online stores. For builders, you will need the following items: 1. Cardboard Use the corrugated E-flute cardboard sheet for the viewer. Flute thickness should not be less than 0.06” (1.5mm), otherwise the viewer itself will become unstable. This typically manifests in bending when opening/closing the top flap. For Cardboard envelope assembly (best for die cutting), use at least 24” x 30” sheets. 2. Lenses Use the 45mm focal distance lenses. Apple: We Want To Sell 50 Million Apple Watches In 2015

Apple announced Apple Watch during the September 12 Apple event in California and since then, the new Apple Watch is the new cool gadget that is being talked about for a while now. Apple already said that the Apple Watch would cost $349 while the gold version can go as high as $4999. This is however a lot of cash compared to rival smartwatches like the Moto 360, Galaxy Gear and Pepple watch. That being said, Apple hopes that even though the cost of the Apple Watch outweighs that of her competitors, Apple said they would be looking at selling 50 million quantities of the Apple Watch in 2015. The Apple Watch is no doubt a very great gadget on your hand but are you willing to spend $349 on one? Lets hear your thoughts about this. New Bluetooth 4.1 Comes With New Features

Bluetooth has been around for a while and its still very much relevant. Most people would probably think that Bluetooth technology have remained the same since its inception into phones. However, the reverse is the case. Bluetooth is constantly worked on and upgraded even more than most wireless sharing technology out there. Presently, Bluetooth 4.0 is the norm in most new generation smartphones, however, that would change soon as Bluetooth 4.1 is ready to be unveiled. Microsoft Buys Nokia

Nokia have sold it's handset unit to the Software giant Microsoft for $7.2 billion  This occurrence is of course inevitable seeing how software companies are increasingly moving into the hardware market so as to have total control on the hardware to uses its software, something Apple did long time ago and paying off. Google and Microsoft who just in recent times totally picked up on the school of thought of Apple have seen that controlling both the hardware that runs its software is the way to go now. Well,  Microsoft have totally demonstrated that school of though again by acquiring Nokia's handset division for $7.2 billion.  Also,  Nokia would license some of its patents to Microsoft to allow for freely usage of these technologies.
