Jumia Launches Its First App For Android Devices

Jumia has launched its native app for Android devices.   Jumia is that reputable online shopping store that you can buy all your things from and sent to you. Its the Amazon of Nigeria and its present in Nigeria and 4 other African countries. To further make a statement of how serious they are in getting people to shop, they have released their first Android app to the Google Play Store. This app gives you access to buy all your items,  be it phones, computers,  fashion materials etc.beware though, the prices displayed from the app seem to differ from what is presented on the official website www.jumia.com.ng . Once you choose an item that catch your attention, you are presented with another screen showing you the rating, specifications and price of the item. NCC Set To Implement Mobile Number Portability For Cheaper Calls

Updated: Call tariffs are expected to be cheaper in Nigeria for 2013 due to mobile number portability scheme (MNP). There can't be a better news for Nigerians. You will notice a lot of radio adverts have started rolling out to educate the masses on how it works. According to information being propagated from the NCC website, it will be free to register for this service. It is also available to both prepaid and postpaid users and will e available for GLO, MTN, ETISALAT and AIRTEL subscribers. Mobile Number Portability Mobile number portability scheme would enable subscribers to retain their mobile numbers if they migrate from one network to another. This means that should a subscriber choose to switch from Glo to MTN, for example, the same mobile number will continue to work with the new carrier (MTN).
