iOS8 Jailbreak Warnings and Status

With Apple set to officially release iOS 8 to the world come September 19th 2014 alongside the new iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 plus, one can only imagine how many iPhone users would gladly and maybe blindly update to the latest iOS 8 firmware. We say blindly because, as far as history as thought us, the first version of any new iOS firmware released comes with a whole lot of bugs that can render the device and apps unstable. Line of Apple Fans Ahead of iPhone 6 Release

Whenever the iPhone is to be released it's usually accompanied by a lot of razzmatazz. More Detailed Images of iPhone 6 Surfaces

As we move closer to the unveiling of the iPhone 6 by Apple come September 9th 2014 more clearer and detailed images of the next iPhone 6 are showing up.  It's usually normal to see better images of a flagship smartphone leak to the world when it's launching and unveiling is at hand. Hence we are not surprise that these images are turning up. Popular and consistent leaker of Apple smartphone images Dickson have released yet another images of the iPhone 6. This time it's a clearer and sharper image of the back metal plate of the iPhone 6 as shown below.  Although the information we've had so far suggested that the iPhone 6, 4.7inch version will have dual LED flashlight at the back with a oval shape. iOS 8 Jailbreak Release Date

Apple have unveiled their iOS 8 beta 1 version and as you may have expected, many hackers especially in the jailbreak community will start tinkering with it to see how feasible it is to jailbreak.  One popular hacker @i0n1c was the first to state that the jailbreak of iOS 8 beta 1 is very feasible and would be done sooner according to the series of tweets that was posted by him as shown below. Its known that Stefan Esser doesn't release jailbreak exploits publicly therefore, we shall be looking at the Evad3rs and other erudite hackers to look for a way to make the jailbreak possible for iOS 8.  Does this mean that we shall be seeing an iOS 8 jailbreak early when it gets released? iOS 8 Ready To Be Unveiled Next Week Alongside These Other Products

Apple is set to start it's WWDC 20014 in a week time; June 2nd - 6th to be precise taking place in San Francisco. This year's WWDC will see the unveiling of iOS 8, OS X 10.10 and other products Apple have been working on particularly the Home Smart software.  Sources have revealed that Apple would probably not unveil the iPhone 6 and the iWatch at the WWDC 2014.   The venue which is in San Francisco is already being decorated with iOS 8 banners and prepared for the event and we are equally going to be giving up to date information during the event.  One area we would be interested in is how Apple hopes to use the newly acquired Beats Inc to make the iPhone and services better.  There's quite a lot to expect from Apple iOS 8 and we shall be bringing you the info.  Like our Facebook page and follow us on Twitter for smartphone gist. 

Apple Won't Unveil iPhone 6 at WWDC

Apple is set to begin it's annual WWDC conference in June 2nd 2014 however New information going through the internet have suggested that Apple won't be unveiling it's much anticipated iPhone 6 to the world at this year's WWDC. Although, Apple may not unveil the new iPhone at the WWDC event, it is believed that Apple would be unveiling a new kind of product according to the Financial Times.  The Financial Times on Monday reported that Apple is ready to unveil “a new software platform” that will allow iPhone users to control lights, appliances and security systems in their homes. FT’s anonymous sources say that the move is a “big play” that will compete with rival offerings from Google and Samsung, and the solution will be shown off during Apple’s WWDC keynote on June 2nd. Split Screen Multitasking on iPad with iOS 8 Announced

iPad is set to receive split screen multitasking feature when loaded with the iOS 8 firmware as announced by  Mark Gunman of 9to5Mac. calendar and safari shown in split screen This new feature would make the iPad able to display 2 or more apps on the screen with each app shown side by side and can be interact with simultaneously; like the image shown above which is a concept render by Sam Beckett. This means that one can be watching a YouTube video on one side of the screen while creating a note on Evernote on the other side of the screen. Currently, the Microsoft Surface and the Samsung Galaxy Tabs have this feature allowing for more productive multitasking. iPhone 6 Form Factor and Sensors Revealed

iPhone 6 is among one of the anticipated devices for 2014. We are all looking to what Apple will give to us in September. One of the rumors that have flooded the internet is that iPhone 6 will be of two types. One will feature a bezel - free screen that would be as wide as 5.5inches while the other would be slightly smaller at around 4.7inches. According to a new report, the iPhone 6 will feature a range of new in-built sensors — including one for temperature, one for atmospheric pressure, and one for humidity. Screenshots of iOS 8 Homescreen Leakes

iOS 7 is becoming gradually old even though iOS 7.1 was just released few days back.   Rumors of iOS 8 isn't new as its well known that by now, Apple would obviously be working on the next Apple device and the iOS version on it. For now, we do know a little about the next gen iPhone but no so much about the iOS until now when a screenshot of an iPhone running iOS 8 firmware was leaked as shown in the image below. From the image, you would see an icon known as Healthbook, TextEdit, Preview and another known as Tips. We do not have a full understanding of what these apps would do but the name alone pave way for us to believe that the iPhone 6 would by "health-conscious". Not only was a section of the home screen leaked, but also a screenshot of the About section was leaked.
