How To Get Folders On Any Nokia Lumia Phone

Nokia Lumia users can now have folders on their home screen just like other smartphones from other devices do.

Naturally, all apps are arranged on the home screen without the ability to put these apps in folders for organisation and cleanness sake. However, Nokia has now made the ability to get folders on their handsets by releasing a dedicated app to achieve that. This app called App Folder can be downloaded from the App Store (link placed at the bottom of page).

Initially, this ability was reserved for Nokia Lumia 1020 and Lumia 925 when the Lumia Black software update is installed. However, Nokia deemed it fit that other Nokia Lumia phones should have the feature or app too on their devices which eventually led to the release of a dedicated app.

What this ultimately means is that you can gather similar apps an put them in a folder so that things can get very organised on the home screen and also less clustered. This would also make it easier to find apps.

For example, you can create a folder named Tools as shown in the image below or name another as App folder as you please or even games folder.

This is a good thing for Nokia but we are looking at the Windows Phone App Store and functionality to be at the peek like that of Android and iOS; hopefully it would be there in a short while.

How To Unbrick Tecno F7 Smartphone

About a week ago, a friend rooted his Tecno Phantom A smartphone. He was so excited about the endless possibilities to customize his device so he kept installing a lot of applications that caught his attention unaware of the dangers some apps can create on rooted smartphones. Finally, he installed an application called Font Changer Lite and that was when it all happened. After installing this app, his phone attempted to reboot and instead of booting normally, the phone froze at the Tecno logo. It wasn’t going passed that state. He couldn’t boot into his phone. Practically, his phone was bricked and had to look for a way to unbrick and use his phone again. If you are presently in the same limbo state as described, please follow the instructions below step by step to fix your device. I recommend reading through first before actually starting the process. Kudos to Seunpayne of Nairaland for uploading his files for download and also giving instructions on the usage....
