Jumia would be making some massive price slash to all product on Black Friday, November 28th 2014. The products you usually buy would be dropped by 30% to 80%. As if that is not all, Jumia introduced another 50% price slash which is awesome. This 50% new price slash program is known as Double Awoof Vouchers and what it means is that you get a voucher for half its price. Let me break it down to you. Apple have released an update to the iOS 8.1 firmware for all iOS 8 capable devices. The latest iOS 8.1.1 firmware according to Apple fixes bugs and makes older devices more snappier during use. Google have released a new Gmail app that look almost like the new Inbox app that was released a while ago for iOS.  The new app has the same look and feel like the new Inbox app that was released for iOS. The new Gmail app is very intuitive and helps in categorizing mails and making it easy to see mails that are important and the ones that qualify as spam. Finally, Google have deemed it fit to change the UI of the Google Maps application for iOS.  Not only is the UI changed, the app icon now also have a new flatter look.  One of the new features for the Google maps is that there is now a support for Uber pickup times and fares for those that use that are Uber costumers.  Finally, there is a Google's Explore option at the bottom of your map for fast and easy access to nearby local hot spots or Nearby Places which you can access by tapping on the search box and swiping up to reveal Nearby Places .  The new Google Map can be downloaded now from the Apple App Store.  Like our Facebook page and follow us on Twitter for more smartphone news.  

Once an Apple device is jailbroken, one of the things done by many folks is to install apps from Cydia store and to also install apps that were not permitted into the Apple Store but found elsewhere aside Cydia e.g Vshare and AppCake.
