New Tecno Phantom A+ Smartphone

Here we are again, there is no end to the way smartphones are released these days.

Tecno have released yet another Phantom device, this one is known as Tecno Phantom A+ and its not so different from its predecessor the Tecno Phantom A. 

The only major difference between the Phantom A and the Phantom A+ is in the Operating System, Processor type and frequency. All other things like the build, shape, camera RAM etc remain the same.

      What I notice is that when Internet is in use under low light, battery drops 1% every 3:38mins.
      Withou internet on
      On high backlight(bl)
      1% drop every 3:32mins
      On medium bl
      1% drop every 4:40mins
      In low bl
      1% drop every 10.02mins
      On sleep:no bl at all
      1% drop every 20mins

      If you do the math of high bl without internet, you should have 5hrs:53mins for 100% charged battery

      For medium bl w/o internet you should have 7hrs:33mins

      For low bl w/o internet you should have 16hrs:7mins

      W/o internet means that internet data isn't enabled but non-high graphics apps r in use.

      This I saw on my 1 month old tecno F7.

      More tests to come.

    the processor type, is it mtk6577H ( because that's dual core processor ) or quad core mtk 6589 ???. because the former F7 uses mtk 6577h and pls do know the GPU type coz d former use powervr 531 ultra which is a very very low video GPU. coz am considering upgrading my f7 to this new one

Tecno M3 Specifications and Features

Tecno is making the news again after a slight break. This time around Tecno have released a low-end smartphone called Tecno M3 for those that are on a tight budget.  This phone comes with 8GB internal memory card, USB adapter & charger, earphone and a plastic case.
