How To Jailbreak iOS 6.1.3/6.1.4 Untethered

Yesterday, Sunday 22nd felt like Xmas for a lot of folks due to the iOS 7 untethered jailbreak that was released by the evad3rs team and today feels just like boxing day due to the release of an untethered jailbreak for iOS 6.1.3 /6.1.4 by iH8sn0w assisted by Saurik.

I can not imagine all that is happening right now in the jailbreak community but one thing is sure, this new iOS 6.1.3/6.1.4 untethered jailbreak would bring even more smiles to jailbreak loving folks or those stalked on a tethered iOS 6.1.3/6.1.4 jailbreak.

If you are one those craving the untethered jailbreak of iOS 6.1.3/6.1.4, follow these steps as suggested by iH8sn0w.

Steps
Hello everyone,
With the unexpected release of the evasi0n7 jailbreak, we are finally able to release the 3GS/A4 6.1.3 + 6.1.5 untether Cydia package.

To grab it...
1) Have a tethered jailbreak (either via redsn0w [Point to 6.0 IPSW] or sn0wbreeze).

2) Open Cydia.

3) Click the "Changes" tab in the footer.

4) Press the "Refresh" button in the top left corner.

5) After "Reloading Data", perform a search for "p0sixspwn" (the O is a zero). The latest version is 1.2-1 as at this writing.

6) Tap Install.

7) If you’re stuck at the apple logo, hold power + home to perform a hard reset and then go through with t he process again

That's it! You're untethered.

I'll be updating sn0wbreeze to incorporate the untether directly later (No eta :P).

Our next priority is getting an A5+ jailbreak for 6.1.3/6.1.4 out. As I stated on Twitter, we expect it should be out by Christmas day. So if you don't feel like upgrading to iOS 7 and prefer 6.1.3/6.1.4, sit tight for a bit. :)

A guaranteed drama-free untether (hopefully :]).

And to add a little humour, iH8sn0w says it's gonna be a drama - free untethered jailbreak not like that we are currently experiencing with the evasi0n 7 iOS 7 untethered jailbreak tool.

How To Root Tecno Phantom A (Tecno F7)

There are no limit to the possibilities one can achieve on a rooted Android device compared to one that isn't rooted. As you know, Rooting is to Androin as Jailbreak is to iOS. For those that don't know what rooting means, a little definition will suffice. Rooting basically means that you install a set of programs on your phone that gives you total control over your device. Total control means that you have the right to install any applications or even delete core applications that you don't want.  Simply put, you have administrative rights over your device, giving  you super user access, and of course, you can use DroidVPN to have free unlimited internet. The guide below shows how you can root Tecno Phantom A also known as Tecno F7 and its super easy to achieve. Don't forget to like us on Facebook. Requirements 1. Computer with internet connection 2. How To Unbrick Tecno F7 Smartphone

About a week ago, a friend rooted his Tecno Phantom A smartphone. He was so excited about the endless possibilities to customize his device so he kept installing a lot of applications that caught his attention unaware of the dangers some apps can create on rooted smartphones. Finally, he installed an application called Font Changer Lite and that was when it all happened. After installing this app, his phone attempted to reboot and instead of booting normally, the phone froze at the Tecno logo. It wasn’t going passed that state. He couldn’t boot into his phone. Practically, his phone was bricked and had to look for a way to unbrick and use his phone again. If you are presently in the same limbo state as described, please follow the instructions below step by step to fix your device. I recommend reading through first before actually starting the process. Kudos to Seunpayne of Nairaland for uploading his files for download and also giving instructions on the usage....

Update: Effective 3rd of December 2013, Airtel BIS plans will stop working on non BlackBerry phones.  You are advised not to subscribe such plans in your non BlackBerry phone(s)  ------------------------------------------------------------------- It has being observed that as smartphones get better, offering outstanding screen resolution, better camera power and faster modems so also is the data consumed by these smartphones also rising. It may also be due to the what one can achieve with the smartphone when connected to the internet. For example, visiting Facebook and uploading an image that is huge in size, record videos and upload to YouTube, make purchases online, communicate constantly with emails.   The need for more data on our smartphones is surging dramatically but it seem as though Nigerian telecoms network don't want their consumers to have an affordable plan that will cater for their Internet data needs except for BlackBerry devices which enjoy such r...
