Apple have done their thing again and its still the talk of the ecosystem.

    1. You downloaded the IPSW(make sure its not set to open with WinRar as the default program) and saved it on your Desktop, launch itunes, use the shift key and click Update iPhone.
From the box, select your downloaded IPSW and click OK.
      iTunes would restore to it.

  13. Hi. I have a friend with a developer ID that gave me the file download for iOS 7 beta 2. I have followed all your steps to install it, but every time I press alt, click 'check for updates' and select the ipsw, I get an error message from itunes stating "The iPhone 'Siena's iPhone' could not be updated because the firmware file is not compatible." Any suggestions? Thanks

  14. Hello Siena, please specify your device type (iPhone 4, 4S or 5) so that I can point you to the right download link. Remember there's CDMA and GSM version of iOS 7.

Also, it could be that your iOS 7 download was incomplete and as such couldn't identify it.

Finally, make sure the extension of the firmware is ending in ipsw. E.g A10325_iOS7.ipsw

Give these suggestions a try. However, iOS 7 beta 2 is out and you should considere that as it offer better and richer iOS 7 with Voice memo included. You can read about it here http://goo.gl/EyPpF

  15. I have an iPhone 5, and live in the US. When I went to download there were two options - the 28 model or 29. I downloaded the 29, but now I'm wondering if that may have been incorrect? The extension is correct. I will try downloading the file again tomorrow.

  16. Okay, you should do that. However, like i said earlier, beta 2 (http://goo.gl/EyPpF) is what you should aim to download this time around.

How To Root Tecno Phantom A (Tecno F7)

There are no limit to the possibilities one can achieve on a rooted Android device compared to one that isn't rooted. As you know, Rooting is to Androin as Jailbreak is to iOS. For those that don't know what rooting means, a little definition will suffice. Rooting basically means that you install a set of programs on your phone that gives you total control over your device. Total control means that you have the right to install any applications or even delete core applications that you don't want.  Simply put, you have administrative rights over your device, giving  you super user access, and of course, you can use DroidVPN to have free unlimited internet. The guide below shows how you can root Tecno Phantom A also known as Tecno F7 and its super easy to achieve. Don't forget to like us on Facebook. Requirements 1. Computer with internet connection 2. PdaNet+ V4.12 zipped file 3. eroot_v1.3.3 zipped file 4. USB to connect your device to the

Infinix Alpha Ultimate Force Smartphone: Pros and Cons

Okay, we know Infinix is really gearing up now and are working tirelessly to bring nice smartphones to its loyal customers especially in Nigeria. That being said, a new Infinix smartphone is now with the name Infinix Alpha or X570 which comes right after the Infinix Race Max Q . One cannot really say how successful the Race Max Q was, but it could be safe to assume that it did below expectations seeing how Tecno Phantom A and A+ dominated the market scene in Nigeria and other African countries where they operate. So, what is in this Infinix Alpha that can change the table in favour of Infinix this time around? See  the specifications below to get you started. A video review also available here Infinix Alpha is a 5.7 inch capacitive touchscreen with a screen resolution of 720 x 1280, 12 mega pixel rear camera plus 5 mega pixel front camera with 1GB of RAM and a 1.2GHz Quad core processor and Android Jelly Bean 4.2.1  smartphone. Tecno M3 Specifications and Features

Tecno is making the news again after a slight break. This time around Tecno have released a low-end smartphone called Tecno M3 for those that are on a tight budget.  This phone comes with 8GB internal memory card, USB adapter & charger, earphone and a plastic case. Although Tecno L3 and D3 are almost the same with M3, M3 has a better camera (5mp) with more swift feel especially when browsing. L3 on the other hand has a better battery performance but much slower internet speed. As we said in one of our posts, the 3 is a designation for low-end devices and the newly released L3 and M3 is proof of that. For a device of the price, feel and usage is smooth enough. Make sure you check the speaker of your M3 since some have reported that its not too clear. Below is the specifications of the M3 low-end smartphone. Network : the new M3 supports both 2G and 3G networks Connectivity : Bluetooth 3.0 with Advanced Audio Distribution Profile (A2DP). It also has
