New List of TECNO Mobile Products Releasing Soon

TECNO Mobile have recorded outstanding increase in the volume of phones they have sold in 2013. As of this writing, TECNO has four product line which are targeted at various people with various pocket size.
The product line are designated using numbers 1, 3, 5, 7 and 9 which refer to the low-end phones to high end phones. See here for more info.



Recently we saw  two new devices from the low-end namely L3 and M3 and two high end, F7 and N9 and are doing well too. However, the middle end "5" guys have been left behind but not for long though.

TECNO will release new set of medium end smartphones and one with a physical keyboard too before the end of September.

By September, we should be seeing a TECNO P5 and R1 TECNO phones. 

These phones would  be running the latest Android Jelly Bean 4.2.2 and would have dual core processors, 5mp - 8mp camera but may feature 512mb of RAM.

Also, there is an indication of a Android 4.3 X7 TECNO phone and V9 p in the works that would feature a quad core processor, better GPU, RAM and Screen Resolution. 

One problem TECNO needs to tackle is its battery power in its devices and how much it lasts. Also, the screen of the devices should be more scratch resistant.

TECNO have come this far and should able to sustain the success by releasing better devices at lower rates in other to continue to stay relevant in the industry and give the big names a run for their money.

    Akin... on a more serious note...4 how long will tecno users keep on selling dia fonez jez bcs dey wanna use d latest android version.. iont kno wot wil take dem to incorporate OTA updates in dia fonez.. #smh

    To be honest tbaba, I have thought abt it too and I would want to ask the same questions too once I get in touch with one of their high up officials.

    By the way, updating an app. You will also notice that new security manager options shows up.

    Its almost as if features found in 4.3 are being ported to other jelly bean devices partially.

    We are tired of all these latest every week ,I bought f7 not quite long now i'm hearing f8,am I going to sell it to get latest ,do something o! So that We can upgrade to new version .

    Lol..u guyz r rootin 4 OTA updates on tecno phones.,so u wuld jus easily update to d latest android..well,hw do u want dem to now sell their more recent fones wit d newer android..

      They can still sell if the upgrades are limited to some phones and also there is limited to ur uupgrades like u cant upgrade more than twices

      Allowing OTA updates would give qualified devices more buying preference.
      For OTA updates, it would require new set of teams to test out the updates for compatibility, not only with the processor but with other components.
      I am therefore of the opinion that Tecno isn't willing to go through such stress or partner with our Nigerian networks to deliver the upgrades using their servers etc.

Tecno M3 Specifications and Features

Tecno is making the news again after a slight break. This time around Tecno have released a low-end smartphone called Tecno M3 for those that are on a tight budget.  This phone comes with 8GB internal memory card, USB adapter & charger, earphone and a plastic case.
