Asus Zenfone 2 , specifications, price and features

Today, ASUS launched their newest 4GB affordable smartphone, the ASUS Zenfone 2. Asus Zenfone 2 comes up with 2 versions: The first version has a 4GB RAM and 64GB of storage that costs $299, and the cheaper version which costs $199 and has 2GB of RAM with 16GB of storage. Beside the fact that this is the first phone with 4GB of RAM,  what makes this phone so special and different from other android devices is the fact that its running a 2.3 GHz 64 bit - Intel atom processor 3580 ( the cheaper version is 1.8 GHz).

This is a phablet sized phone with a display of 5.5 inch, 1920 x 1080 resolution (403 PPI), and corning Gorilla Glass 3 for screen strength. Zenfone 2 has a 3000mAh removable battery however, the general consensus is that this phone battery life runs down quicker than expected, perhaps because Intel Atom processor is not a low power usage processor, which is one of the negative things about this phone. The good news is that due to its fast charging (boost master) system which charges 60% in 39 minutes one can easily add more juice to the battery so that it can last through the day. Both versions of Zenfone 2 handsets have a microSD card slot that support up to 64GB SD card, and two micro SIM card slots as well one SIM card support 4G technology while the other only support 2G.

This phone has a 13 MP rear camera which offers high quality performance especially in low light condition. But not as good as the likes of of HTC, Samsung,  LG, SONY etc. but again, you can't complain because the price makes it acceptable. The front camera is 5.0 MP and takes good images especially for selfies. One other con of this phone is the speakers that are placed in the back of the phone which produces sounds with low volume and weak bass.

This phone weighs 6 ounces which which means it's heavier compared to other phablets. Also the power button placed on the top edge of the phone can become a little bit annoying because of this phone's big screen - not easy to reach but thank goodness the screen can be turned off and on by just tapping the screen. The zenfone 2 runs Android 5.0 Lollipop
with Asus' custom Zen UI interface.

Starting from today, the Zenfone 2 will be available unlocked in red, grey, black and silver. It has an aluminum texture which makes it very comfy while holding it. There is no doubt that this phone does bring extremely good performance compared to its affordable price, so this phone is definitely for people who like big screens, affordable prices and good performance.

Different from other companies, ASUS doesn't seem to have any carrier partners to sell their phones, therefore ASUS will sell their phone directly through Amazon, B&H, Newegg.com etc.

pros: Great price, lovely medium-end specs combination and awesome build.
Cons: Poor battery life, average camera spec, bulky, and low speaker quality.

That being said, a new Infinix smartphone is now with the name Infinix Alpha or X570 which comes right after the Infinix Race Max Q . One cannot really say how successful the Race Max Q was, but it could be safe to assume that it did below expectations seeing how Tecno Phantom A and A+ dominated the market scene in Nigeria and other African countries where they operate. So, what is in this Infinix Alpha that can change the table in favour of Infinix this time around? See  the specifications below to get you started. Tecno M3 Specifications and Features

Tecno is making the news again after a slight break. This time around Tecno have released a low-end smartphone called Tecno M3 for those that are on a tight budget.  This phone comes with 8GB internal memory card, USB adapter & charger, earphone and a plastic case. Although Tecno L3 and D3 are almost the same with M3, M3 has a better camera (5mp) with more swift feel especially when browsing. L3 on the other hand has a better battery performance but much slower internet speed. As we said in one of our posts, the 3 is a designation for low-end devices and the newly released L3 and M3 is proof of that. For a device of the price, feel and usage is smooth enough. Make sure you check the speaker of your M3 since some have reported that its not too clear. Below is the specifications of the M3 low-end smartphone. Network : the new M3 supports both 2G and 3G networks Connectivity : Bluetooth 3.0 with Advanced Audio Distribution Profile (A2DP). It also has
