Cover Intelligent Lockscreen For Android (Download Links)

Few weeks back, we talked about an Android intelligent lockscreen app called Cover. The app is a smart lock screen that would display apps on your locked screen based on where you are at the moment.


For example, if you are driving, your locked screen would contain apps like Google Maps, Email app and maybe Phone app to allow you quickly get things done. However, if you are in a different place, your locked screen would contain other set of applications relative to where you are located.

 Cover is able to this by noticing the app you use most frequently in certain places and adapts to it. It learns location and gives you the best lockscreen that would fit that environment.

 Also, Cover doesn't drain battery at all. In fact, the creators had to work tirelessly to make sure that battery usage is kept to the minimum.

 Accurate motion sensing helps Cover to determine when you are in a car driving or moving on feet. This accuracy helps it to position apps that are necessary and needed in the car.

Although at first launch, you are required to input your home and work addresses. Also, your Cover settings is associated with your Gmail ID. So even if you lose your phone and you get a new one, installing Cover reflects your previous settings.

This Cover Intelligent lock screen is now available for download at the Google Play Store for those that want a bite of  this app.


The app is still in its better stage though and the creators have said that more features would be added to the app to make it a total must-have app for any Android phone.

 The ease at which one can switch between running apps and notified apps is sweet and perfect. Also changing profile status can't be any easier.


Currently, the app supports Android version 4.0.3 above and its about 19MB in size. Furthermore, its not available in every Google Play Store region yet so some may not find it in their country's store. However, a direct link to the app on Play Store can be found below.
