Goophone S5 is a Samsung Galaxy S5 Carbon Copy But Cost Just $300

After watching the Samsung Galaxy S5 launching and seeing the features and specifications of the S5 device, I was impressed but I was also aware that to buy the phone off contract unlocked, I will have to shell out a good amount of money.

Perhaps you have though about it too and money is usually the problem, Well, Goophone wants to solve that problem for many people in that category.

Samsung Galaxy S5 was unveiled just 3 days ago and Goophone have come up with an extremely look alike of the Samsung flagship phone. In fact, if you do not pay very close attention to the Goophone S5, you would pass it as a true Samsung Galaxy S5 except that Goophone S5 is written at the back of the device.

The Goophone S5 comes with a 5" 1080p 1920 x 1080 display with very brilliant colour and comes shipped with a 2GHz MediaTek MT6592 octa-core processor and 2GB RAM on-board. Also the Goophone S5 manufacturers decided to put in a 32GB storage on the device and an external SD card slot that supports up to 32GB memory card stick. The Samsung Galaxy S5 comes with 16MP rear and 2MP front camera.

The Goophone S5 comes with dual SIM with dual standby, 3G network capability unlike the Samsung Galaxy S5 that comes with 4G network capabilities; but hey, the Goophone S5 is half the price of the SGS5.

Finally, the Goophone S5 which runs Android Jelly Bean 4.2 as opposed to the Android KitKat 4.4.2 that the original Samsung S5 comes with has 13 megapixel rear camera with a LED flashlight and a 5 megapixel front camera.

Aside the difference you would observe between the inside of the Samsung galaxy S5 and the Goophone S5; physical appearance, they are exactly the same.

Currently, the phone is out of stock and you can always visit the goophone website for other products they offer.

Of course, its not the first time the Goophone huys make a complete look-alike of a high end smartphone. They have done it with HTC One, iPhone 5C and 5S.

In conclusion, if you see someone trying to offer you an allegedly Samsung Galaxy S5, contract-free and unlocked for $200, look very well at the specifications of the phone and make sure you are buying what exactly you want to buy. As they say it "if its not panadol, it can be like panadol".

Tecno is making the news again after a slight break. This time around Tecno have released a low-end smartphone called Tecno M3 for those that are on a tight budget.  This phone comes with 8GB internal memory card, USB adapter & charger, earphone and a plastic case. Although Tecno L3 and D3 are almost the same with M3, M3 has a better camera (5mp) with more swift feel especially when browsing. L3 on the other hand has a better battery performance but much slower internet speed. As we said in one of our posts, the 3 is a designation for low-end devices and the newly released L3 and M3 is proof of that. For a device of the price, feel and usage is smooth enough. Make sure you check the speaker of your M3 since some have reported that its not too clear. Below is the specifications of the M3 low-end smartphone.
