How To Unbrick Tecno S3 Phone

Unbricking an android phone can be a daunting challenge basically because different android devices have different ways to which they can be bricked. Hence, they unbricking methods may vary depending on the device.

The tutorial below may be applied to other MediaTek devices however, this particular one applies to Tecno S3.

Warning
This is a unbricking tutorial specific to Tecno S3 Android Phone. The ROMs contained are for Tecno S3 and not for any other Tecno phone

Requirements
2. Tecno S3 Drivers installed on the computer Download here
3. A Windows Computer
4. Download Sp Flash Tool V5

Procedures
1. make sure that the drivers for your device is installed on your computer. Also, make sure the VCOM drivers are on your computer. Check the driver link above to see how you can get the drivers.

2. Once you have the drivers installed on your computer, remove the battery of your bricked device.
3. Place all downloaded ROM files in a folder on your computer Desktop

4. Extract the downloaded SP Flash Tool to a folder

5. Open the SP Flash Tool folder and click on flash_tool among the list of files in the folder.


6. Click on the scatter - loading located at the top right corner of  the window. see the image below for the highlighted button.


7. Select the scatter loading txt file and automatically you would see certain boxes check and selected as in the image below.


8. Now plug in your device to  the computer with the battery already removed. You can hold the Volume Up or Volume Down button to force the computer to easily recognise your phone

9. Click on the Download button as shown in the image.


10. At the end of the download session, you should see a Green OK dialogue box.

11. Disconnect your phone from the computer. 

12. Insert your battery back into the phone and boot up phone normally.

How To Unbrick Tecno F7 Smartphone

About a week ago, a friend rooted his Tecno Phantom A smartphone. He was so excited about the endless possibilities to customize his device so he kept installing a lot of applications that caught his attention unaware of the dangers some apps can create on rooted smartphones.
