Infinix Zero versus Tecno Phantom Z Smartphone Comparison

Infinix Zero smartphone is a wonderful phone, one that will impress, wow and make a lot of sale. This smartphone which we have had the opportunity to play with for a long time has won our admiration and thumbs-up.

Conversely, Tecno Phantom Z is a very desirable phone and we have also had the opportunity to play with it for a couple of days now since it was released and I can tell you that its also a beautiful and solid phone.

However, after playing with these two great devices from Infinix and Tecno, we are now ready to give you our opinion regarding both devices and how well they stack up to each other. Also, we shall need your opinion on this.

in our usual fashion, we shall present you with a color coded table of specifications for both devices and we shall use colors to specify where one device trumps the other in spec strength.

Green coded block means a strength while yellow coded block shows a weakness in relation to the other device. A colorless block means an equal strength. Sit back and enjoy this comparison.

Because we have personally tested out these devices for a while we can tell  you that they are both very good devices and have lived up to their specifications.

Images taken by both devices are awesome, display is superb and response have been great. remember that the Mali-450 MP4 GPU is even capable of a 4K display.

Our Opinion
Both devices are great not only by specifications but also by the price tag attached to them. Hence its even difficult to choose a more desirable one.

A deal breaker for us was the price tag of the Tecno Phantom Z which is more than double that of the Infinix Zero, but again looking at the screen resolution, battery power and camera feat., we almost forgave Tecno on that price tag. Also, the absence of a SD card slot makes us a little disappointed.

For Infinix Zero, the battery power left a bitter taste in our mouth but the price tag and the Gorilla Glass 3 screen made us to be forgiven of Infinix.

The question is, if money isn't a problem, are we still going to choose the Infinix Zero over the Phantom Z smartphone? Honestly, personally, I can't say for sure and this is why we came to the conclusion below.

There is something we completely frown about the Tecno Phantom Z, which is the fact that Tecno splattered their Tecno logo at the back and front of the device. This is something we love the Infinix Zero for.

*The 16GB internal memory and 2GB RAM Infinix Zero smartphone will be available around 15th - 20th September 2014.

In conclusion
In terms of specifications, the Tecno Phantom Z is a great phone that beats the Infinix Zero smartphone however we can say that the Infinix Zero is a better value for money.

  1. I prefer the infinix zero. But will 2gb ram really coming to infinix zero cus they promised that in alpha marvel x502 which am using now but the 2gb ram just came recently which had it being that i continued waiting. Why am asking this is to know whether i will wait for the 2gb ram. I ve already placed pre order for the 1gb ram. I used phantom A previously but tecno is pushing out phone both big screen with low spec which mean no differentiation bw Z and other tecno devices. I previously plan going for the Phantom Z but change my ming bc of infinix zero with gorilla grass 3 and the price tag wich is more smoother and strong. Am presently using infinix alpha marvel x502 but due to kit kat am going for zero. Thanks for the review ugh.

    2. I just received my order of the 2GB RAM and 16GB Memory today from Konga. Goes for 23,900 and is colour white. The 2k Value represents good value. However I must say that it came without Smart Cover, PowerBank or Screen Protector.

  4. Thanks so much for the reviews of kudos, more grace. I will like to go for the tecno phantom Z but the lack of as card slot is a major letdown cos it's internal claimed 32gb might not be more than around 20gn after allocation to suit OS and other things, on part of infinix, it is the batter,Iand can still manage that with a power bank which I already have.
I just want to ask a question, the super amoled screen on that tecno, is the quality comparable to modern Samsung amoled eg. Like the one in Samsung Galaxy s4 cos the latest on s5 is too advance, even better than galaxy note 3 screen, so tecno can't use it yet.
Which screen is better out of the two phones, infinix zero ips vs tecno phantom Z amoled in terms of display and quality? (not referring to resolution or dpi here but image quality) thanks.

How To Root Tecno Phantom A (Tecno F7)

There are no limit to the possibilities one can achieve on a rooted Android device compared to one that isn't rooted. As you know, Rooting is to Androin as Jailbreak is to iOS. For those that don't know what rooting means, a little definition will suffice. Rooting basically means that you install a set of programs on your phone that gives you total control over your device. Total control means that you have the right to install any applications or even delete core applications that you don't want.  Simply put, you have administrative rights over your device, giving  you super user access, and of course, you can use DroidVPN to have free unlimited internet. The guide below shows how you can root Tecno Phantom A also known as Tecno F7 and its super easy to achieve. Don't forget to like us on Facebook. Requirements 1. Computer with internet connection 2. Infinix Alpha Ultimate Force Smartphone: Pros and Cons

Okay, we know Infinix is really gearing up now and are working tirelessly to bring nice smartphones to its loyal customers especially in Nigeria. That being said, a new Infinix smartphone is now with the name Infinix Alpha or X570 which comes right after the Infinix Race Max Q . One cannot really say how successful the Race Max Q was, but it could be safe to assume that it did below expectations seeing how Tecno Phantom A and A+ dominated the market scene in Nigeria and other African countries where they operate. So, what is in this Infinix Alpha that can change the table in favour of Infinix this time around? See  the specifications below to get you started. A video review also available here Infinix Alpha is a 5.7 inch capacitive touchscreen with a screen resolution of 720 x 1280, 12 mega pixel rear camera plus 5 mega pixel front camera with 1GB of RAM and a 1.2GHz Quad core processor and Android Jelly Bean 4.2.1  smartphone. Tecno M3 Specifications and Features

Tecno is making the news again after a slight break. This time around Tecno have released a low-end smartphone called Tecno M3 for those that are on a tight budget.  This phone comes with 8GB internal memory card, USB adapter & charger, earphone and a plastic case. Although Tecno L3 and D3 are almost the same with M3, M3 has a better camera (5mp) with more swift feel especially when browsing. L3 on the other hand has a better battery performance but much slower internet speed. As we said in one of our posts, the 3 is a designation for low-end devices and the newly released L3 and M3 is proof of that. For a device of the price, feel and usage is smooth enough. Make sure you check the speaker of your M3 since some have reported that its not too clear. Below is the specifications of the M3 low-end smartphone. Network : the new M3 supports both 2G and 3G networks Connectivity : Bluetooth 3.0 with Advanced Audio Distribution Profile (A2DP). It also has
